Draft review of Force’s Transfer & Promotion system falls short

As members will be aware, the Victoria Police Force has produced a Draft Review Document of its system of Transfers and Promotions which it recently circulated to all members.

The Police Association has been involved in many aspects of the Review, but does not agree with all of its findings and recommendations.   Several of the statements contained in the document purporting to represent the Association’s position in the Review are inaccurate.

The Association wrote to the Victoria Police Force on this matter prior to the release of the Draft Review Document but our concerns have not been addressed.

Members should express their views on the draft document to the Victoria Police and provide feedback to The Association via general@tpav.org.au

The Association remains committed to representing members’ views and concerns throughout this Review process, which is not yet finalised, and is disappointed that this Draft Document misrepresents our position.
